Emily Medbury grew up in the Macedon Ranges on the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia. After moving to Melbourne Emily explored a range of Creative Pathways, from Journalism to Fashion Design, Activism and Creative Direction, she was excited by the ability to create something with her hands, to build something from nothing.
In 2019, she was approached by her now Business Partner Harry Cassell and asked if she had ever thought of Directing Film. Emily was fascinated by film and the power of story-telling, with one story in mind they created Mycelium Made, sparking an avalanche of idea’s and as a result – Nicefilm.co was born. A Film Company dedicated to creating Cinematic Films for Sustainable Brands and Innovators who inspire them.
